How it works / no cloud
A conversion engine, not an upload form.
filetity opens the PDF in browser memory, draws a thumbnail of every page, and writes a new file with the pages copied across in the order you arranged them. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable text and images keep their original data. There is no account, queue, watermark, or remote server in the path.

Straight answers
No accordion. Nothing hidden.
- Is it free?
- Yes, with no watermark and no page limit.
- Does it need an account?
- No. There is no account system.
- Is my file processed on my device?
- Yes. The file is read by your browser and never uploaded. There is no server to send it to.
- What formats are supported?
- PDF in, PDF out, holding the same pages in a different order.
- What are the limits?
- No page limit. Every page can be moved; the first 24 get a rendered thumbnail, and past that pages show as numbered tiles so a 200-page document stays quick to open.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes, on any modern mobile browser. Large files are limited by the memory the phone gives the browser.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page has loaded. The tool keeps working with no network connection.
- How do I move a page?
- With the arrow buttons under each thumbnail, which move a page one place at a time. They are the control rather than dragging because dragging is invisible to anyone using a keyboard.
- Will reordering make the file bigger or blurrier?
- Neither. The pages are copied into a new document, not photographed and redrawn, so nothing is re-encoded. Text stays text and images keep the data they arrived with.
- Does it change my original file?
- No. Nothing is written back. The original stays exactly as it is on your disk and the reordered version downloads alongside it.
- Can I remove or turn pages here as well?
- Not on this page. Removing pages and rotating them are separate tools, linked below, because a page that does one job well beats a page with four buttons on it.
