How do I cut a section out of an MP3?

- Because drawing one means decoding the entire file before you can do anything, which on a long recording is a wait before the wait. Typing the seconds is exact, it works on a phone where dragging a handle is fiddly, and you can find the moment with the player above the boxes first.
- How do I keep the middle and drop both ends?
- That is what a start and an end do together: set the start to where you want the audio to begin and the end to where it should stop, and everything outside is dropped. Removing a section from the middle instead means trimming twice and joining the two pieces.
