filetity opens each PDF in browser memory, copies the pages across in the order you set, and writes a new file for download. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so nothing is re-encoded. There is no account, queue, watermark, or remote server in the path.

Is it free?
Yes, with no watermark and no page limit.
Does it need an account?
No. There is no account system.
Is my file processed on my device?
Yes. The file is read by your browser and never uploaded. There is no server to send it to.
What formats are supported?
PDF in, PDF out. Any number of files.
What are the limits?
No file count or page limit. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, usually a few hundred megabytes on desktop.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, on any modern mobile browser. Large files are limited by the memory the phone gives the browser.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded. The tool keeps working with no network connection.
Does merging change the quality of the pages?
No. Pages are copied across, not re-rendered. Text stays as text, images keep their original data, and the output is the same quality as the input.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
No. The tool refuses an encrypted file rather than producing a damaged one. Remove the password first, then merge.
What order do the pages come out in?
The order you arrange the files in, and within each file the original page order. Reorder the list before merging to change it.
