- Processed on device: Yes. The file is read by your browser and never uploaded. There is no server to send it to.
- Formats: JPG and PNG in. PDF out, one image per page.
- Limits: No image count limit. Each page is sized to its image, so a mix of sizes produces a mix of page sizes.

## Questions

### Can I turn any image into a PDF, not just JPG?

Yes. JPG and PNG both work, and you can mix them in one document. If your photos are HEIC from an iPhone, use HEIC to PDF instead, which decodes them first. For anything else, convert it to PNG and bring it back here.

### Are the images recompressed?

No. JPG data is embedded as-is, so the PDF holds exactly the image you gave it. Nothing is re-encoded and no quality is lost.

### What page size do I get?

Each page matches its image's pixel dimensions. A 3000 by 2000 photo becomes a 3000 by 2000 point page, which prints and views at the image's own proportions.

### Can I put several images on one page?

Not yet. Every image gets its own page, at the size of the image. Combine the pictures into one first with the image combiner, then bring that single image here.

### Will my phone photo come out sideways?

No, not any more. Phones store the pixels the way the sensor read them and add a flag saying which way is up, and a PDF page does not read that flag, so this used to come out sideways. filetity now reads the flag and turns the page instead of the pixels, which puts the photo upright without re-encoding anything. Mirrored photos, which a page turn cannot express, are still left as they are.

### Why does it say one of my images could not be read?

The usual causes are a progressive JPEG or an unusual colour profile, which the PDF embedder cannot take as they are. Open the image in any editor and save it again as a plain JPG or PNG, then try once more.
