## Capabilities

- Free: Yes, with no watermark and no page limit.
- Account required: No. There is no account system.
- Processed on device: Yes. The file is read by your browser and never uploaded. There is no server to send it to.
- Formats: PDF in. PDF out, with the selected pages gone.
- Limits: No page limit, but at least one page has to survive: the tool refuses to remove every page rather than hand back an empty file.
- Mobile: Yes, on any modern mobile browser. Large files are limited by the memory the phone gives the browser.
- Offline: Yes, after you have used it once. Your browser keeps what the tool needs, so it then works with no network connection.

## Questions

### Does this shrink the file?

Usually, because the pages and the images on them are gone. It is not a compressor though: what stays is stored exactly as it was.

### Can I get the pages back afterwards?

Not from the new file. The original on your device is untouched, so keep it until you are happy with the result.

### What if I select every page?

The tool stops and says so. An empty PDF is not a useful thing to hand someone, so removing everything is refused rather than allowed.

### Can I type the page numbers instead of clicking each one?

Yes. The box under the thumbnails takes 1-5, 8 and ticks those pages. A number past the end of the document is ignored rather than refused. If you then click a page by hand, the ticks stay and the box clears, because it no longer describes what is selected.

### Why do only the first 24 pages show a picture?

Drawing every page of a long document would slow the page down for everyone. After 24 the pages appear as numbered tiles, which select and delete exactly the same way.

### Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?

No. The file is refused when you open it, with a message asking you to remove the password. Do that with Unlock PDF, delete the pages here, and add the password back with the same tool if you need it.

### What is the new file called?

Your file's name with -trimmed added, so report.pdf becomes report-trimmed.pdf, and the original stays where it was.
